BIOGRAPHY
Lissie focuses her practice on drafting estate plans for high net worth individuals and families and advising clients on a wide range of matters, including gift and estate tax planning, trust and estate administration, generation-skipping transfer tax issues, premarital and post marital agreements, and charitable giving.
Prior to joining Birchstone Moore, Lissie worked closely with owners of large franchises and closely held businesses. During law school, she worked for the in-house corporate counsel of the Nashville Predators, ensuring the team’s compliance with various state and tax regulations within the industry. She also represented small businesses and tax-exempt organizations while serving as both a counselor within her law school’s Business Law Clinic and as a law clerk at Dom Law, advising clients on their business planning and administration matters, as well as registering and managing their intellectual property. Lissie uses this knowledge of general business matters when advising clients on the preservation and transfer of wealth, charitable giving, and business succession planning.
