Prior to joining Birchstone Moore, Erin was a business transactions attorney at several global law firms and a small-business owner, and these experiences inform the advice she provides to clients to meet their estate planning objectives.

Most recently, Erin practiced at Venable LLP in Washington, D.C., advising public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, corporate governance, commercial business matters and contracts, and day-to-day corporate matters. During her time at Venable, Erin also served as a seconded in-house counsel to Marriott International, Inc. and Giant Food.

From 2007-2012, Erin was co-founder of a women’s clothing boutique in Georgetown and knows well the dynamics of a closely-held family business.
